Collection: Deb Henley

Meander through the tideline with Deb Henley.  The artists original acrylic paintings on canvas were recently inspired by the colours and patterns of the local marine life that lives, grows or comes to rest on the shores of Safety Cove & Crooked Billet Bay
.
As Deb explores the coastline, her encounters with windows into the tidal realm draw her into deep observation
.
Her collages of marine species entwined within the rocky shoreline are the artistic outcome of Deb’s personal enquiry, looking deeper, studying the movement, colour, sound, behaviour and natural beauty of the coastal nooks, surrounding her home at White Beach on the Tasman Peninsula
.
Deb Henley received the Tasman Council Acquisition Award and People’s Choice Award at the 2024 Tasman Art & Craft Fair.  Her work has also been recently featured in 'Nature' journal, depicting the artists interpretation of coral bleaching on The Great Barrier Reef.
