Weedy seadragonsPhylum chordata are a protected species and endemic to Australia’s Great Southern Reef. Throughout their lifecycle, the decline of habitat is a real threat, from shallow estuaries of seagrass meadows (protected) to deep offshore rocky reefs of Giant kelp Macrocystis pyrifera (endangered).
Amanda’s work focuses on threatened species and seeks to understand the connections that emerge between the vulnerability of the landscape and our connectedness to nature.
