"On the sleepy drive south to Cockle Creek to hike into the rivulet, we passed the Franklin River on a perfectly still sunny day. Implementing new techniques, this is the final piece completed in Tyson's series of artworks."

Tyson's work is inspired by the forms and tones existing in nature. His work tends to begin 'en plein air', as he is immersed in the environment he paints.

Passionate about capturing the light and full scape of composition as seen to the naked eye, Tyson plays with an element of abstraction as he translates the environment through oils onto board. 

A lifetime of painting, with much encouragement from the 'women of art' who raised him,  Tyson exhibits artworks for the first time with Bylanders Collective - from his Island Immersion.
