Across the southern sky over Wedge Island toward the northern expanse of Norfolk Bay, Premyadena Hill encompasses the vantage point of the southern Aurora dancing from the Antarctic pole, to the Northern reaches of Maria Island’s distant peaks on Tasmania’s East Coast and beyond.
The depth of this outlook, celebrated through the canvas and the wine, tells the story of the place that the arrow range is made.
Artist, Paul Crichton takes us on a journey from the heights of Premaydena Hill through the surrounding scenes, across undulating valleys towards distant bays and seas.
From these distant valleys, the grapes from Premaydena Hill’s sister range are grown & tended, arriving to the Winemakers on this prominent hilltop of the Tasman Peninsula
Inspired by these mesmerising views, Paul’s paintings explore the depth of field, colour, texture and light over turrakana country, as it revels itself through an ever-changing moody lens from Storm Bay to the Tasman Sea.
