"Hiking in 20km around lake st Clair to meet some friends on their last day of the overland track, we walked in cheese and wine for the weary travelers. The next day I went for a walk to find this spot. To me this spot is synonymous to the Australian Landscape."

Tyson's work is inspired by the forms and tones existing in nature. His work tends to begin 'en plein air', as he is immersed in the environment he paints.

Passionate about capturing the light and full scape of composition as seen to the naked eye, Tyson plays with an element of abstraction as he translates the environment through oils onto board. 

A lifetime of painting, with much encouragement from the 'women of art' who raised him,  Tyson exhibits artworks for the first time with Bylanders Collective - from his Island Immersion.
