This botanical linocut celebrates the Scoparia flower which in summer brightens the Tasmanian alpine landscape in a range of colours. From deep red, through pink, salmon, orange and yellow and even to white, the Scoparia are a sign of summer in the high marsh lands.
Grace hand carves lino, and prints with oil based printing ink onto Stonehenge paper. Colour is added with watercolour, each piece individually hand painted.
The image size measures 30cm high (12") x 20 cm wide (approx 8 1/4") with the paper larger as shown. Each artwork is signed and numbered with the edition limited to 10.
